Right after Thomas was born, Ashley posted about how she did monthly baby photos for her daughter, and I was smitten. I loved how graphic the calendar was and how it chronicled his growth against a fixed object. So on July 16th (the day before Thomas’s 1 month birthday) I ran to Target for a July – June calendar (good birthday timing so I only had to buy one calendar, Thomas. The budget thanks you.) I so loved this monthly tradition. If his month birthday fell on a daycare day, we’d get up early and nurse so that I’d have a happy Thomas for the morning light in his room. From about 6 months on I needed Mr. B around to be the baby wrangler. Anyway, enough chat, here’s a year of Thomas:
I love each individual month’s photos – he’s show off his newest skills from sitting up to pulling up after our first laying on the calendar shot. But my all-time favorite is the last photo we took on his first birthday:

AWESOME!! I love it- it is simple but meaningful. I like that they are black and white too. The last one is the best! I hope you are turning these in to a calendar.
